Homecoming!

Homecoming! Homecoming has concluded here at Illinois. This week of celebrating our school, alumni, and our pride is one of my favorite times of the year! Here are few things that students look forward to seeing or being a part of! 1. Homecoming Parade Different organizations, students, faculty, and community members participate in this parade! It’s really cool to see everyone come together to honor everything our institution stands for. 2. Homecoming 5K Race Repping orange and blue all around, this race is to raise enthusiasm and anticipation for the best school out there! You may be thinking, don’t you have to be a runner for this event? Don’t fret, this race is fun for non-runners, like myself! If you want to celebrate school pride and spirit, this is the event for you! 3. Homecoming Court I thought homecoming courts ended when I graduated from high school, but I was wrong! Illinois honors 20 distinguished student leaders. These members are selected based on their academic and leadership achievements and community involvement! If you’re considering Illinois as your future home, this is one of the many reasons why you should come! You’ll be a part of an institution that takes pride in their academic achievements, never fails to give back to the community, and most of all, treats every single person as family! Kripa Class of 2020 I'm majoring in Psychology, minoring in Spanish, and pursuing a pre-dental track. It seems like I’m all over the place, but that’s what I like about college! I get to choose to study what I’m interested in, and I’m happy to be doing just that at Illinois.
